 Hey fats,

I wasn't going to post OOTDs three days in a row, and I'm guessing you're all getting a bit sick of me, but something unrelated just occurred to me so I figured I might as well. And also, I don't want to look at kanji.

OK, so the main thing about this outfit is the skirt. In this photo I'm wearing it a bit lower than I think it should be worn. Ideally you should be able to see my knees. Keep that in mind.

Anyway, this skirt is something like my old and faithful. I bought it years ago at the DFO at Homebush Bay, in Sydney. I was smaller then (I assure you I've always been a fatshionista in every way possible, but when I got this I was smaller), and I wore it a bit lower as a result. Over the years I've worn it in different ways; with sandals, with heels, with stockings and flats as I am in this photo, and it's never let me down, except now it is quite a bit too small for me and the strange buckle things that hold it on my frame keep coming loose to my friend's everlasting amusement. I hope it'll stay with me for years to come, and it was the skirt that introduced me to the incomparable yay-ness that skirt-wearing has to offer.

Now for what I need advice on: As an overweight white person who is about as fit as a hybernating brown bear, I have a chronic sweating problem. It's ridiculous - I walk up a hill in a short-sleeve shirt when it's 10 degrees outside, and by the time I get to the top the sweat will be pouring off me. That's... honestly not a joke. Because of this, I don't tend to wear make up, because in my experience wearing it has seemed like a waste because I'm out of the house 10 minutes and it's smudged and/or been wiped off my face by my impatient sweat-hating fingers. This'd be fine if I didn't have one of the worst cases of keratosis pilaris rubra faceii (horribly red cheeks) that I have ever seen, and want to tone down the redness just a bit.

So my question to my fellow fats is, is there any make up out there that you know of that is impervious to the very worst of sweating problems? It's mainly foundation I'm after, but if there's anything that's specially made to hide the keratosis, that would work very well for me as well.

So, without further ado, here's the photo. Talk to you all again soon! (Oh, and sorry it's sideways. Apparently she could get all of me in by taking it like that. *shrug*

Hello all

I've been following this board for a little bit now and have been so very inspired by so many of you. I recently put all the weight I lost back on and I've been very frustrated about my clothing. I stick to black pants or khakis with a dress shirt most work days and jeans with some sort of t-shirt or sweatshirt on the weekend.  When I first lost the weight, I felt great about my fashion style, but then I put it all back on and lost that.  YOU GUYS INSPIRED ME TO GET IT BACK!

Pics after the jump.... )
